Whether you write code or you don’t, there’s a programme designed for where you are.
Most AI courses teach you to use a tool that will be replaced in six months. We teach you how to think about AI systems: how they work, how they fit together, and how to build with them confidently as the field keeps moving.
BuildrLabs runs cohort-based programmes inside Hatch Works, Sri Lanka’s leading tech and startup hub. Every instructor is an active practitioner. Every cohort ends with something real in your hands.
Our instructors build AI systems commercially, every day. Not academics. Not career trainers.
You finish with work you actually own and can show — not a toy dataset or a certificate no one can verify.
Updated each cohort based on where the field actually is — not what was relevant two years ago.
In-person access to Sri Lanka’s most active tech and startup community — from day one, not after graduation.
There’s a programme for wherever you’re starting from.
For people who want to engineer AI systems from the ground up. 16 weeks of in-person Saturday sessions covering LangGraph, RAG, Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud infrastructure. You graduate with two deployed systems and a clear path into the industry.
For professionals who want to apply AI meaningfully in their work. Not a slide deck about ChatGPT. A practical, hands-on programme built around how you actually operate day to day.
They’re not career teachers. They’re engineers and architects who happen to be exceptional at explaining the work they do.
Instructors for the June 2026 Applied AI cohort — practitioners running AI in their own functions — will be announced soon.
BuildrLabs runs inside Hatch Works: Sri Lanka’s leading tech and startup hub. The founders, engineers, and operators you meet here aren’t future connections. They’re your peers from day one.

We run two in-person bootcamps: the 16-week Agentic AI Bootcamp for builders, and the 5-Saturday Applied AI Bootcamp for professionals. The answers below cover both.
You show up in person, work alongside a cohort, and ship two real production systems by the end. Online courses give you content. The Agentic AI Bootcamp gives you a portfolio, instructor connections, and a Demo Day in front of hiring companies.
People who want to build production AI systems, not just use them. Fresh graduates, A-level students, career-changers, and working developers who want to specialise in agentic AI. If you want to apply AI in a non-technical role rather than build it, our Applied AI Bootcamp is the better fit.
Three tracks share the same core 16-week curriculum: AI Engineer (build and deploy LLM-powered apps), Automation Engineer (design multi-agent workflows), and AI Product Builder (ship AI products on cloud infrastructure). You specialise through your Capstone 2 project in the back half.
Coding experience is required for this bootcamp — basic Python or JavaScript is enough. If you don't have it yet, you have time before Cohort 2 (Q3 2026) to get up to speed — free intro courses on Codecademy or freeCodeCamp work. WhatsApp +94 76 925 6780 or email sales@buildrlabs.ai and we'll help you map a prep plan. (If you want an AI programme that doesn't require coding, see the Applied AI Bootcamp.)
The Agentic AI Bootcamp moves you up the AI stack rather than re-teaching what you already know. The first weeks (LLMs, prompt engineering, RAG) give formal grounding for things experienced devs pick up ad-hoc. The back half — LangGraph, CrewAI, MCP servers, dual-memory architectures, production observability for LLM apps — is genuinely new territory for most working engineers.
4 hours in-person on Saturdays (9am–1pm) at Hatch Works, Colombo, plus 6–8 hours of weekly self-study and project work. Intensive by design. Total: ~10–12 hours per week over 16 weeks.
A structured ramp to Demo Day — the final session of the Agentic AI Bootcamp where you present your production project to our partner companies who are actively hiring. Includes priority access to those partners plus coaching to convert. Eligibility: 80% attendance, all assignments, all projects completed.
No. What we guarantee is your place in front of hiring decision-makers at Demo Day, plus the preparation to convert. Eligibility: 80% attendance, all assignments, all projects completed.
Full refund if you withdraw by the end of Day 1 of Cohort 1, no questions asked. After Day 1, all payments are non-refundable.
Week 16 ends with Demo Day. Eligible students enter the Priority Placement Pathway — priority introductions to our partner companies, interview prep, and placement coaching. Community access is included for all graduates.
Yes — for employer-sponsored students. Email sales@buildrlabs.ai to arrange.
A 5-Saturday, in-person cohort at Hatch Works, Colombo, built for professionals who want to apply AI in their day-to-day work. You build a personal AI stack and five real deliverables, one per Saturday. No technical background required. June 2026, LKR 65,000.
Mid-to-senior professionals in any function — Finance, HR, Sales & Marketing, Operations and more — plus team leads, managers, and founders building AI-first operations. If you want to build production AI systems as an engineer instead, the Agentic AI Bootcamp is the better fit.
No. There is no coding prerequisite and no prior AI experience needed. If you use a laptop for work, you are qualified. We set up and build everything together in the room.
