This is a project-based programme for people who want to build with AI, not just prompt it. You’ll start with how large language models actually work, then move into building agentic AI: systems that can plan, take actions, and get things done with minimal supervision. Think automated workflows, AI-powered products, and multi-step systems that do real work.

You’ll leave with something you actually built, not just a certificate.

This is for you if

  • You want to work in AI, not just work alongside it
  • You’ve got some basic programming exposure, or you’re comfortable picking it up fast
  • You want to build something real, not collect another certificate
  • You learn better with a deadline and people around you than alone with a course platform

This probably isn’t the right fit if

  • You’re already an ML engineer or DevOps professional working at the technical frontier
  • You want a fully non-technical, no-code introduction to AI tools (we have a separate programme for that)

Questions you’re probably asking

Do I need to know how to code?+

Basic programming experience (Python or JavaScript) helps, but it’s not mandatory. We’ll figure out where you’re at with a short screening call before the cohort starts.

Is this the same as your non-technical AI course?+

No. This programme is for people who want to build AI systems. If you’re after a no-code introduction to using AI tools at work, that’s a separate BuildrLabs programme.

What will I actually leave with?+

A portfolio of AI systems you built yourself during the programme, not just a certificate.

When exactly does it start, and how much does it cost?+

Is BuildrLabs an established institution?+

BuildrLabs sits under Hatch Works, a Sri Lanka-based startup and tech hub. This is our first Singapore cohort, so we’re building our track record starting here.
